Who we are

Maria Björk Marketing is a sole-trader marketing consultancy run by Maria Björk, based in Sweden and serving clients in the UK and internationally. For privacy questions, contact hello@mariabjork.com.

What this notice covers

This notice explains what personal data we collect through mariabjork.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to anyone who visits the website, books a call, or contacts us by email.

What data we collect

When you book a Clarity Call through Calendly on this site, we collect your name, your email address, and the answers you give to the pre-call questions.

When you contact us by email, we collect whatever you choose to send us — typically your name, email, and the content of your message.

When you visit the website, basic technical data is collected by our hosting and analytics providers, described below.

Why we collect it

To run the call you booked. To follow up with you afterwards if relevant. To answer any email you send us. To understand how the website is being used so we can improve it.

How long we keep it

Booking and email data: twelve months after our last contact with you, unless you become a paying client, in which case we keep it for the duration of our working relationship plus six years for tax and accounting purposes.

Website analytics data: as long as our analytics provider retains it, currently up to fourteen months.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See "Your rights" below.

Who else sees your data

We use the following third-party services that process your data on our behalf:

• Calendly — for call bookings — calendly.com/privacy
• Google — for calendar and email — policies.google.com/privacy
• Lovable — for website hosting
• Our analytics provider, if cookies are accepted

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to anyone for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If our website uses cookies for analytics, you will see a cookie banner the first time you visit. You can accept, decline, or change your preferences at any time. Essential cookies that make the site work are always on. Analytics cookies are off until you accept.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to stop processing it, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated by email to active clients.
